Franki’s Engineering team is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer. This person will play a crucial role in shaping our innovative platform, focusing on the development and advancement of our backend systems. The right person for this role will contribute to the evolution of Franki as a dynamic platform that integrates social, video, and AI capabilities, enhancing how our users experience food and beverage venues worldwide. What you’ll do:
- Provide architectural guidance and ensure that solutions align with the overall technical architecture and business goals.
- Take ownership of code quality by enforcing best practices, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, evaluate their applicability to the project, and make recommendations for adoption or improvement.
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Proactively address scalability and performance concerns by optimizing code, infrastructure, and system design.
- Champion security best practices and ensure that applications and systems adhere to security standards and protocols.
You might be a good fit if you...
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years experience with in modern, cloud-based, open-source web application development
- 2+ years in startup environments building B2B/B2C web applications
- Architect and implement high-quality backend systems using C#, .NET, and Azure technologies.
- Ensure the creation of reliable and secure API interfaces.
- Proficiency in C# and the Azure platform backend: Azure DevOps, CosmosDB, .NET & .NET Core, Serverless, SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures.
- Experience with modern, scalable, web-app patterns, principles, and open-source frameworks.
- Ability to work with modern web app React front-end development.
- Confidence in designing and using REST APIs.
- Familiarity with MediatR SDK or CQRS/Mediator patterns.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and the importance of automated testing.
Bonus points if you…
- Certified in Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, or any relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Flexible to meet project deadlines, which may occasionally require extended hours.
